This Cookie Policy explains how Eventrise, LLC (“Eventrise”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, web app, and checkout pages, including checkout pages embedded on event organizers’ websites (together, the “Platform”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels (tiny images or code that report when a page or email is opened), local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) in our mobile apps. In this policy we call all of these “cookies”. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by a service we use), and “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).

Our emails may also contain tracking pixels and tracked links that tell us and the organizer who sent the email whether it was delivered, opened, or clicked. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for details.

We use cookies to:

• Keep you signed in to your account and keep your checkout session secure

• Process payments securely and help Stripe, our payment processor, detect and prevent fraud

• Remember your preferences and settings, including your cookie choices

• Enable our live chat support through Intercom

• Understand how you use our platform to build better features

• Provide personalized support based on your activity

• Measure whether our ads work and show relevant Eventrise ads to people who have visited our site

Consent. Essential cookies are set automatically because the Platform cannot work without them. We set Functional, Analytics, and Marketing cookies only after you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time (see “Your Cookie Choices” below). Where you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, this consent is the legal basis for those cookies under the ePrivacy rules and GDPR.

California and other US states. Our Marketing cookies allow Meta and Google to collect identifiers and browsing activity on our site to measure and deliver ads. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this may be treated as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out by rejecting Marketing cookies in our cookie banner. We also honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC): when your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of Marketing cookies on our websites. We do not otherwise respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, which have no common standard.

Organizer websites. When an organizer embeds Eventrise checkout on their own website, that website may set its own cookies under the organizer’s cookie policy. This policy covers only the cookies set by Eventrise and our service providers.

You’re in control. You can:

• Use our cookie banner to accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit

• Change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies for our site, which will show the banner again on your next visit, or by contacting us

• Turn on Global Privacy Control in a supported browser or extension to opt out of Marketing cookies automatically

• Disable or delete cookies through your browser settings (note: this may affect site functionality)

• Opt out of Google Analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage Google ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings

• Manage the ads you see from Meta, including data collected by the Meta Pixel, in your Facebook ad preferences

Note: If you disable Functional cookies, our live chat support feature won’t work, and we won’t be able to provide contextual help based on your browsing activity. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through the banner; blocking them in your browser may prevent you from signing in or completing checkout.
