Guides for the people who run events
Behind every event is a human with a spreadsheet, a radio, and a door list. These guides are for that person.
We helped run conferences for 15 years before we built Eventrise, and most of what we know came the hard way: the night the numbers did not work, the payout that landed after the vendors were due, the seat map that took four tries. The guides below are that experience written down, with the math shown.
They are organized the way an event actually happens. Plan it and find the P&L. Fund it before the doors open. Build the room and run the show. Sell it out. Pick the platform that will not fight you.
Each guide ends with a short section on how we do it, and that is the only place we talk about ourselves.

Event Payments
Event cash flow: how to pay deposits, performers, and vendors before the doors open
When deposits are due, when ticket revenue lands, what payout holds cost, and a calendar sheet that shows the gap months ahead.

Event Payments
How ticketing payouts work: holds, reserves, rolling payouts, and early-payout fees
Who holds your revenue, what a 20% reserve is, what an early payout costs, and which platforms pay you as tickets sell.
